Open Access Policy

Afro-Asian Journal of Law and Governance promote the wide dissemination, accessibility and responsible usage of scholarly knowledge. The Journal uses an open-access approach to publishing in order to increase the visibility, accessibility, dissemination and scholarly impact of its publications.

Access and Usage

Published papers can be read freely using the official Journal site, in accordance with the terms of copyright and licence that apply to each paper. Under the conditions stipulated by the applicable licence, individuals are free to read, download, copy, print, link to and disseminate papers for non-commercial educational, academic and research purposes, provided proper credit is given to the author(s) and Afro-Asian Journal of Law and Governance.

Licensing

Articles are published under a recognised open-access licence, including:

  1. Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY); or
  2. Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC).

The specific licence applicable to each article shall be clearly stated on the article's publication page or within the published article.

Author Rights

Copyright remains with authors under the terms of the publication agreement/ license. Authors assign Prime Crest Publisher the rights required for publishing, reproduction, archiving, distribution and electronic dissemination of the article.

Repository and Archiving Policy

Authors can submit the accepted/published version of their articles in the following repositories:

  1. Institutional Repositories;
  2. Subject Repositories;
  3. Author’s personal academic web pages;
  4. Academic social networks; and
  5. Research repositories.

In case of deposition of articles elsewhere, authors are expected to provide proper and complete citations of the article published in the Afro-Asian Journal of Law and Governance.
