Focus and Scope

The Afro-Asian Journal of Law and Governance (AAJLG) is an academic refereed journal published by Prime Crest Publisher. The Journal is a means for the dissemination of cutting edge research dealing with contemporary issues of law, governance, public policy, and socio-legal nature in Africa, Asia and beyond. The Journal promotes interdisciplinary, comparative and transnational scholarship that explores the interplay between law, governance, institutions, society, technology, development and human rights. It especially solicits scholarly contributions which analyze legal and governance experiences, problems, innovations and reforms in African and Asian countries, as well as comparative research that fosters knowledge exchange between the two continents and other coutries.

The Afro-Asian Journal of Law and Governance solicits original research papers, review papers, case studies, legislation commentary, policy analysis papers, book reviews, and other academic contributions focusing on, but not limited to the following topics:

The Journal particularly encourages submissions that provide original theoretical insights, doctrinal analysis, empirical evidence, comparative perspectives, policy recommendations, or innovative approaches to addressing contemporary legal and governance challenges. Through its Afro-Asian focus, the Journal seeks to promote scholarly dialogue, intellectual exchange, and collaborative research between African and Asian scholars while remaining open to significant contributions from researchers across the world. The Afro-Asian Journal of Law and Governance is committed to advancing legal scholarship that is academically rigorous, socially relevant, policy-oriented, and responsive to emerging challenges in an increasingly interconnected world.
