Abstracting and Indexing

The Afro-Asian Journal of Law and Governance (AJLG) is committed to enhancing the discoverability, accessibility, dissemination, and global visibility of high-quality scholarly research in law, governance, public policy, human rights, technology, development, and related interdisciplinary fields. AJLG seeks inclusion in reputable scholarly abstracting, indexing, citation, discovery, and research-information services that support the dissemination and visibility of academic publications. The Journal is committed to pursuing inclusion in appropriate scholarly databases and indexing services that are consistent with its academic scope, editorial policies, publication standards, and ethical requirements.

Applications for indexing, abstracting, and related scholarly services will be pursued progressively as the Journal develops its publication record and satisfies the relevant eligibility, quality, technical, and editorial requirements of each service.

Inclusion in any indexing, abstracting, citation, or scholarly database is subject to the independent evaluation and acceptance of the respective indexing or abstracting organisation. AJLG shall not represent an application, submission, pending evaluation, or future intention as confirmed or approved indexing. The Journal will only identify a service as an indexing or abstracting platform where inclusion has been formally confirmed by the relevant organisation.

CURRENT DISCOVERY AND VISIBILITY

AAJLG is committed to ensuring that its published articles are accessible and discoverable through appropriate scholarly and web-based research services. Depending on eligibility and availability, the Journal may make its publications discoverable through platforms and services such as:

The presence or availability of an individual AJLG article on a scholarly search engine, repository, academic networking platform, or discovery service does not necessarily constitute formal indexing of the Journal in that service.

TARGET INDEXING AND ABSTRACTING SERVICES

As AAJLG develops its publication record, strengthens its editorial and scholarly standards, and meets the relevant eligibility requirements, the Journal intends to seek evaluation and inclusion in appropriate international, regional, legal, social-science, and multidisciplinary scholarly databases.

AJLG is committed to maintaining transparency and accuracy in all statements concerning its indexing, abstracting, citation, and discovery status. Information regarding confirmed indexing or abstracting services will be updated periodically on the Journal's website as official confirmation becomes available.

The Journal encourages authors, reviewers, researchers, and other stakeholders to verify the current indexing status of AJLG directly through the official website or database of the relevant indexing organisation.
