Publication Policy

The Journal of Intelligent Drug Discovery and Genomic Medicine (IJIDDGM) is committed to maintaining rigorous, transparent and responsible standards throughout the scholarly publication process.

1. Originality and Exclusive Submission

Manuscripts submitted to IJIDDGM must represent original work and must not have been previously published or be simultaneously under consideration by another journal. Authors are responsible for appropriately acknowledging and citing all sources used in their work.

2. Editorial Assessment and Peer Review

All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability for the journal. Research manuscripts considered suitable normally proceed to double-anonymous peer review. Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, relevance, methodological quality, ethical compliance and the evidence presented in the manuscript.

3. Authorship and Contributions

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made meaningful scholarly contributions to the work and who accept responsibility for the published article. All listed authors should approve the submitted and final versions of the manuscript. Individuals who do not meet appropriate authorship criteria should not be listed as authors.

4. Competing Interests

Authors, reviewers and editors must disclose actual, potential or perceived competing interests that could reasonably influence, or be perceived to influence, the research, peer-review process or editorial decision.

5. Research Ethics

Research involving human participants, identifiable human data, biological materials or animals must comply with applicable ethical and legal requirements. Where required, authors should provide information concerning ethics approval and informed consent.

Particular care must be taken to protect privacy and confidentiality when research involves genomic, clinical or other potentially identifiable data.

6. Data and Research Integrity

Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, inappropriate manipulation of research data or images, deliberate misrepresentation of results and other forms of research misconduct are not acceptable.

Authors should retain appropriate research records and provide sufficient methodological information to permit scientific evaluation and, where practicable, reproducibility.

7. Artificial Intelligence

Generative artificial intelligence tools cannot be credited as authors. Authors remain responsible for all submitted content and must disclose substantive use of generative AI in accordance with the journal's Generative AI Policy.

8. Corrections and Post-Publication Issues

Where significant errors or concerns are identified after publication, IJIDDGM may publish corrections or other appropriate notices. Allegations of research or publication misconduct may be investigated and appropriate action taken in accordance with established scholarly publishing principles.

9. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright in their work and grant IJIDDGM and Prime Crest Publishers the right of first publication. Published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

10. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made on scholarly and ethical grounds. Commercial considerations, publication charges or an author's ability to pay must not determine whether a manuscript is accepted or rejected.

11. Policy Updates

IJIDDGM may revise its publication policies as scholarly publishing standards, ethical guidance and regulatory requirements evolve. Material policy changes will be reflected on the journal website.
