Focus and Scope

The Journal of Intelligent Drug Discovery and Genomic Medicine (IJIDDGM) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, drug discovery, genomics, computational biology, pharmaceutical sciences and precision medicine.

The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for original research, reviews and methodological advances that use computational, experimental and data-driven approaches to improve the discovery, development and evaluation of therapeutics and to advance understanding of genomic and molecular mechanisms of health and disease.

Areas of Interest

IJIDDGM welcomes manuscripts in areas including, but not limited to:

  1. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Drug Discovery — machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, predictive modelling, drug-target interaction prediction, molecular property prediction and AI-assisted therapeutic discovery.
  2. Computational Drug Design and Molecular Modelling — molecular docking, molecular dynamics, virtual screening, structure-based and ligand-based drug design, molecular simulations and computational chemistry approaches relevant to therapeutic discovery.
  3. Genomics and Computational Genomics — genome analysis, sequencing technologies, genomic variation, functional genomics, comparative genomics and computational approaches to genomic data.
  4. Bioinformatics and Computational Biology — algorithms, computational methods, biological data analysis, sequence analysis, structural bioinformatics and integrative computational biology.

  10. Cheminformatics and Computational Pharmacology — chemical informatics, quantitative structure-activity relationships, molecular descriptors, compound libraries, computational pharmacology and data-driven analysis of chemical and pharmacological information.

Interdisciplinary Research

IJIDDGM particularly encourages interdisciplinary studies that connect computational methods with biological, pharmaceutical or clinical questions. Research integrating artificial intelligence with genomics, molecular modelling, bioinformatics, multi-omics or precision medicine is strongly aligned with the journal's scope.

Scientific Standards

Submissions should demonstrate methodological rigour, transparent reporting and conclusions supported by the evidence presented. Computational and predictive studies should include appropriate validation and clearly distinguish computational predictions from experimentally or clinically established findings.

Research involving human participants, genomic or clinical data, biological materials or animals must comply with applicable ethical, privacy and regulatory requirements.

Out of Scope

Manuscripts that do not demonstrate a clear connection to drug discovery, genomic medicine, computational biology, pharmaceutical science, precision medicine or related molecular and therapeutic research may be considered outside the scope of IJIDDGM.
