Article Processing Charges

ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES

The International Journal of Biomedical Image Intelligence (IJBII) is an open-access journal published by Prime Crest Publishers.

Article processing charges may be applied to support the costs associated with editorial administration, peer-review management, production, online hosting, digital preservation and publication.

Current APC Status

The applicable Article Processing Charge (APC), if any, will be communicated clearly to authors before publication and will be published on this page once formally established.

Authors will not be required to make payment before a manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process, unless otherwise stated in an official journal policy.

Editorial Independence

Payment of an Article Processing Charge does not influence editorial decisions, reviewer recommendations, acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.

All manuscripts are evaluated on the basis of:

  • Scholarly quality
  • Originality
  • Scientific and methodological rigour
  • Relevance to the journal's scope
  • Ethical compliance
  • Overall contribution to the field

Waivers and Discounts

Where a waiver or discount programme is available, eligibility criteria will be communicated transparently.

Requests for waivers or discounts, where permitted, will be handled separately from the peer-review and editorial decision-making process.

Transparency

IJBII does not support undisclosed publication fees.

Any mandatory publication charge will be communicated to authors before final publication and will be clearly stated in the journal's official APC policy.
